OOPS...
-- Due to some unknown reason, our Community Calendar (here at right) has lost all it's info (and my backup copy was blank as well). I don't know what happened but somehow I lost all the work I had done on it. If you had submitted information on your event, meetings, and other listings for the community calendar, please re-submit it so I can get updated as soon as possible. Sorry for the inconvenience.

Annual hockey sign-ups
HASTINGS -- The Hastings Area Hockey Association will hold its Annual signups for players ages 4 to 15 at the Hastings Borough Office Borough office on the following days: Sunday, February 26th from 1-4 PM; Sunday, March 5th from 1-4 PM; Sunday, March 12th from 1-4 PM. The cost is $15 per person. We ask that any player who hasn’t yet, to turn in their jersey from last year at the signup. Any player who’s Jersey has not been returned will not be issued one for this season, until it has been returned. Players must have helmets and shin guards to play. Any questions can be answered at the signups. Games are played, mostly on Sundays. With at least one practice scheduled per week. Anyone interested in helping is more them welcome. We need coaches, referees, scorekeepers and concession stand workers.

Steelers game?
-- Someone signed our guestbook, but didn't leave an email address. Does anyone know anything about this?
-- "I had bought tickets for the steelers game that is comming the NC High school on March 16th. Someone had told me that the event has been changed to Central Cambria High School. any information would be greatly appriciated."

NCABA meeting
NORTHERN CAMBRIA -- The next NCABA meeting will be Thursday, March 30, 8 a.m., Tri-County Transportation, Magnolia Street, N. Cambria.
-- Subcommittees are urged to meet prior to that date.
-- Planning for the Economic and Career Fair is underway. Help is needed! If you can help make phone calls, set up tables, tear down, help find vendors, etc. Please call Donna at 948-4021.

Cheerleading registrations
-- Cobra All-Star Cheerleading Registrations for the 2006 Cobra All-Star Cheerleading squad will be held during the entire month of March. The registration fee is $5.00 and is open to boys and girls who will be in grades PreK (4 years old) through 9th grade for the 2006-2007 school year. Registrations can be made by calling 814-446-6442, in person at the Cambria Martial Arts Academy, 209 Grant Street, South Fork on Saturday's from 10-3, or online at www.cobracheerleading.com.
